Somen Tchoyi admitted he spoke to Roy Hodgson and admitted he was unhappy with a lack of pitch time prior to todays game against Newcastle – and he certainly gave Roy something to think about.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, the 28 year Cameroonian (is that even a word?) said.
‘I am pleased because I talked with the coach and said I was not happy because I needed more time on the pitch. Next year I hope I will have it.’
If he wanted to send a message to Roy, he more than achieved that with his performance and finishing, and fair play to him for taking his chance fully on a rare start.
