Roy Hodgson is awaiting news on Paul Scharner’s aggravated knee injury following the Liverpool game yesterday.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said.
‘Paul has a slight knee problem, he had it before the game. He’s been complaining a little bit about ligament damage. He took a blow on that very spot, which hasn’t helped. He had to come off.’
The ligament issue was picked up whilst on International duty, so hopefully it’ll settle down before our next game again.
