New signing Markus Rosenberg was delighted to get his Albion career underway after appearing as a late substitute in today’s game.

Speaking to wba.co.uk following his debut, the 29 year old said.

‘It was great to be a part of the game and I’m glad that the goal went in while I was on the pitch. The fans got behind us all day and they were really noisy from where I was sat on the bench. I think we have earned both results and now we’re already looking forward to next week so we can show again that we are a good team.’

Be interesting to see what Rosenberg can offer us once he plays himself into a bit of form and becomes properly match fit.
