Roy Hodgson has hinted that Ishmael Miller could make a permanent move to Nottingham Forest.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said that the 24 year old striker is pencilled in for a medical at Forest tomorrow.

‘Ishmael looks like he’ll go to Forest, he’s got a medical there tomorrow and he’s going to meet up with Steve McClaren.’

Hodgson adds that whilst he believes that Miller is a useful player, he thinks at his age he needs to be playing regularly and that’s something Albion cannot promise him.

‘We wish him well, in some ways we’ll miss him but it would be selfish of us to nail his feet to the ground here when I can’t offer him one of two places on a regular basis. It will be a permanent deal.’
