Peter Odemwingie has said he aims to top last season’s goal haul of 15, as he believes turning 30 means he’s now at his peak.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Odemwingie said he was determined to prove he wasn’t a one season wonder in the Premier League and that there would be no better way of proving that then by beating his scoring record from last season.

‘I think this is the best period of my career so far, last season was the proof of that and I think these coming few years will also be very good. The older a player is the more intelligent he becomes in football and he can be more productive, so I will see myself a target of beating my own record again.’
