Apparently in the tunnel after last night’s game against Stoke, Jonas Olsson got a little bit carried away according to Tony Pulis.
Speaking to Sky Sports Hodgson revealed that he had had to apologise to Stoke after a picture was on the unfortunate end of a fist.
‘One of our players has unfortunately decided to test his strength by having a little fight with a picture. I’m afraid he won and the picture was broken which is disappointing.’
Roy adds that an apology was forthcoming and that obviously the club would be paying for the picture, but he was disappointed as the episode takes the shine off the performance.
There is no confirmation from the club on the player involved, the name has come from Tony Pulis but if there’s a positive to be taken from it it shows how much a win was desired…although granted there are better ways of showing that.
Coffee mugs or a players boot are the favoured options in the Premiership it seems 🙂
