Gareth McAuley has put pen to paper on a new two year deal.
The 33 year old centre half has signed an improved deal in recognition of his performances and will now remain at the club until June 2015.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Steve Clarke said.
‘I’m absolutely delighted the deal has been done. The fact Gareth has signed it tells you it’s a good deal for him and it’s certainly good for the club. He’s a standout performer this season and deserves every reward he gets.’
Since joining on a Bosman from Ipswich in July 2011, he has made 73 appearances for the club, finding the net four times.
