Roy Hodgson has revealed the extent of our injury worries, with Chris Brunt the mystery.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson explained that we are now possibly without:
Jonas Olsson with a calf issue. Youssouf Mulumbu with a groin strain. Steven Reid with his ankle/knee. Zoltan Gera as a long time absentee with his ankle. Chris Brunt with an unknown leg pain and Shane Long with a back problem that required an injection to get him through the Everton clash.
‘It’s a strange injury with Brunt because he didn’t know what happened to him. He felt a sharp pain in his standing leg as he tried to hook the ball clear. We’ll have to wait and see, I dare say a scan will have to decide that one.’
