Roy Hodgson has explained that Peter Odemwingie was left out of the Stoke squad after suffering a minor reaction with his ankle injury.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said.
‘Peter came off the bench for the final 15 minutes at Chelsea and trained on Monday and Tuesday. He then had two days off and when he came back his injury was plaguing him again so we’ll have to wait and see.’
With the international break, Hodgson is hoping that Odemwingie will be fit and raring to go for the Norwich clash.
