Hargreaves Had Medical On Tuesday?

Roy Hodgson has said that Owen Hargreaves met with Dan Ashworth, himself and other club officials for a medical on Tuesday.

Speaking to the Telegraph, the boss said.

‘He didn’t go through a stringent medical, but he was looked at by our doctor.’

Hodgson added that Albion made their position clear and a proposal was emailed to Hargreaves, and obviously it boils down to a pay as you play deal. It has to.

Roy also wanted to say that Owen was disappointed with his experience in English football so far, but he wouldn’t blame anybody – he has a point to prove to himself.

Who knows…we are tight in midfield as it is, but Hargreaves fit will be an asset for however long he is here.
