The prayers have gone unanswered. Zoltan Gera’s scan has revealed a serious injury to his knee following the Spurs game, butt he club still don’t know how long he’ll be out for.
Gera is set for further tests this week to determine the full extent of the damage and to provide a guideline on how long he’ll now be out on the sidelines.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said.
‘Zoltan has done really well since coming into the team and his performances quickly justified how highly we rate him. We still don’t know for sure how long he will be out for but we know we won’t be able to call on his services for the foreseeable future.’
After just getting back into the first team after his last injury, this’ll be hugely frustrating for Gera, but hopefully further tests will show this isn’t as bad as it sounds on the face of it.
