Four Baggies will return to pre season training safe in the knowledge that their goal tallies for last season remain untouched.
Peter Odemwingie’s second strike against Newcastle in Decemeber, and his first against Sunderland in April were under question, as well as Paul Scharner’s header against Villa in December, James Morrison’s goal against Blackpool in January and Youssouf Mulumbu’s goal against Sunderland in April.
It has however been decided that all four players should continue to have to goals credited to them.
