Roy Hodgson is supposedly seeking to bring another Baggies player to Craven Cottage.

After the negligable impact made by Zoltan Gera since he bosman switch to London in the summer, it would seem that Hodgson is far from once bitten, twice shy, and is preparing a £2.5 million bid for our Slovenian international midfielder.

Koren has been on a scintillating run of late, impressing in the 3-0 drubbing of Boro and also bagging a lovely goal in the recent FA Cup draw, however his performances prior to this have been visibly bereft of end product for all his industry.

£2.5 million represents a potential bumper pay day as Koren joined the club on a free transfer two seasons ago, which could tempt cash-strapped Jeremy Peace into an offer, thought whether Fulhams interest is real or merely the workings of an agent keen to secure his player a new contract while he is on a hot streak remains to be seen.
