Steve Clarke has said he is hoping to find a marquee signing over the summer that will match the impact Ben Foster had for us.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Clarke explained.
‘Every summer we’d like to think we can get a marquee signing. Last summer it was Ben, he was a big signing for the club and this year we have to go out and try and find someone else who can come in and do as good a job as Ben has.’
Clarke clarifies he’s not talking about another goalkeeper here, he is talking about the outfield positions.
He also explains that he won’t go out and overhaul the squad, it’s about steady growth and finding players that will compliment who we already have and lift us that bit higher year on year.
