Chris Brunt has returned to England in the hope of sorting out his calf problem in time for our trip to Barnsley.
He flew back yesterday following medical advice because it’s believed the facilities at the training ground are more conducive to a quick recovery than if he’d stayed at the training camp in Malmo.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail Brunty said.
‘This has obviously not been an ideal start to the new campaign for me, but the good news is the problem is only minor, it just needs to be managed and there’s no better place for that than at our training ground.’
