Billy Holds His Hands Up

Billy Jones has called our loss to Fulham ‘one of those days’ but has put his hand up for his part in their winner.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Billy said.

‘We started to get on top and it was more like we have been at home in the second half. We had them by the throat and I thought we were going to go ahead, but I’ve obviously made a mistake, I presumed he would miss that run and be offside. He took a lucky touch and put it through Ben’s legs. I think that summed up what type of day it was going to be. We were making it hard for ourselves, I think frustrating is the best word to describe the game. Basically it was down to us making mistakes on the ball.’

Disappointing yes, but as Billy says we’ve had days like this before in the league but managed to come out with something from the game, even taking all 3 points at times, so it’s not worth getting too despondent about.
