West Brom make the trip to Plymouth this weekend with Steve Watson looking for a start.

Watson has not played for the first team for over a month, but has returned to training after overcoming hamstring problems.

The last game Watson played was against Norwich when the Baggies lost 1-0 in November, Watson was replaced just after the hour mark.

Whether he makes the squad for this game or not will be down to the boss but it is though that a return on Boxing Day when Albion take on Preston looks more likely.

Mowbray also has a fully fit squad to choose from

Mowbray said: ‘The players who played on Saturday (against Coventry) have done themselves no harm.

‘We have talked in the past about good home performances, winning comfortably, and then going away and producing an abject performance.

‘It shows me that it’s not necessarily about keeping the same team. I will sit down with my staff and try to pick the right team for the game.

‘I would suggest it will not be a same again scenario. We need to find a team that can win the match.

‘Whatever side we pick, I’m sure the players will be professional enough to understand that.

‘The problem is when you change a winning side and get beaten it’s easy to ask questions.

‘But any changes we do make will be made for the right reasons to benefit the team and club, not the individual.’
