Our early season derby against Villa, and a few other games have fallen foul of the TV companies.

The Villa game will now take place on September 30, kicking off at 4pm so it can be screened on Sky Sports.

Our home encounter against Premiership newboys Southampton will now kick off at 8pm on November 5 again for a Sky Sports audience.

Our trip to Sunderland has been moved to November 25 with a ridiculous 1.30pm kick off (again for Sky Sports) but if that isn’t annoying enough, they state this one is subject to yet another change, so you wonder if it’s worth bothering to plan thesedays.

Such an additional change will be the game will revery to November 24 but screened at 12.45pm should Liverpool reach the group stages of the Europa League.

Finally, Swansea falls foul of the Sunderland switch and will now take place on November 28, kicking off at 7.45pm.

Whatever happened to just playing matches on a weekend? You wonder if they take delight in causing as much inconvenience to travelling fans as is possible?
