West Bromwich Albion youngster Kane Wilson has rejoined Exeter City on a loan spell that will now run until the end of the campaign.

The full back was at St James Park in the first half of the campaign, making eight appearances with a return of one goal and following the expiry of that loan, he returned to the club in early January.

Clearly he impressed Paul Tisdale during his time with them as they have now come back to take him for the remainder of the campaign.

Exeter sit in eighth place in the League Two table and Wilson is relishing the opportunity to develop more with them.

Speaking to wba.co.uk as the deal was announced, the 17 year old explained.

‘The first half of the season was a really good experience. I played a few games, which was always the aim, so hopefully now the second half of the season can be similar. It`s a big difference to Premier League 2 football and a big step up, but I felt like when I was down there that every game I played was just another learning experience.’

Wilson went on to say.

‘It`s been nice to be up here for a little period because that`s where my family are, but now I`m ready to go back and start working even harder. The main aim as an Exeter player for the rest of the season is to get promoted from League Two to League One, which would be really good for my first loan. On a personal note, my target will be to just get as many games as possible and really put in some good performances when I`m down there.’

Fellow youth product Dara O’Shea spent the first half of the campaign out with Hereford FC and the 18 year defender made 26 appearances, scoring once. He too has now returned to them on a second loan spell.
