West Bromwich Albion fans have given a mixed, but largely welcome response to news of Darren Moore’s appointment as our new permanent head coach.
Having come in late on in the season with relegation nigh on nailed on, Moore gave us hope of avoiding the drop with improved performances on an effort front and some excellent and unexpected wins along the way.

With many fans calling for his permanent appointment even when relegation back to the Championship was confirmed, wise words of caution did take the airwaves in recent days.

The concerns raised though were valid, and despite those concerns plenty are happy the club have opted to take the risk believing that Moore is the right man to instil some pride back in the group, much like he did at the end of the season, and we now see if he chooses to add to his backroom staff and maybe bring in a more experienced assistant head coach to help him traverse the battles ahead.
