West Bromwich Albion strikers Ishmael Miller and Luke Moore have been included in Stuart Pearce’s England U-21 squad to face Poland next week.

It’s been a contrasting few weeks for the Baggies forwards as Miller continued his fine form with an FA-Cup hat-trick taking him to 15 goals for the season. On-Loan Villa striker Moore however has been largely limited to substitute appearances and has failed to endear himself to the Albion fans even further by managing his first dismissal of his career in the 34th minute of West Brom’s 4-1 defeat at the hands of Leicester City.

The game, to be played at the Dingle Den of Molineux next Tuesday (kick off 7pm) will feature a number of up and coming English players, and some (e.g. Joe Hart) who may feel aggrieved not to have earned a senior squad call-up.

England U-21 Squad: Hart (Man City), Heaton (Man Utd), Dann (Coventry), Fox (Coventry), Gardner (Villa), Mancienne (QPR), Mattock (Leicester), Onuoha (Man City) Shawcross (Stoke), Cattermole (Middlesbrough), Johnson (Middlesbrough), Johnson (Man City), Leadbitter (Sunderland), O’Hara (Tottenham), Surman (Southampton), Campbell (Hull), Derbyshire (Blackburn), Jerome (Blues), MILLER (ALBION), MOORE (ALBION).
