West Brom Get An Injury Boost But I’d Be Surprised If He Returned To The Starting XI

|

West Bromwich Albion make the trip to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United as we play a second successive Championship clash on a Friday evening.

It’s going to be an interesting tie as only a point separates both sides in the second tier table, and although United have the advantage both are in the Play-Off spots at this moment in time.

Victory tonight would see us leapfrog them into third place for a period and that will no doubt be head coach Darren Moore’s aim.

On an injury front, he can welcome back centre-half Kyle Bartley to contention following his weeks out with injury, but whether fans themselves will consider that a boost or not is open to debate given defensive criticisms many have following our performances.

Whatever the individual thoughts of fans, the 27-year-old’s return will aid competition and give us another option as we look to extend out five-game unbeaten run and Moore has certainly got more right than wrong this year, so we just have to have faith.

I think most would prefer not to see a return to three at the back though as it was.
