West Bromwich Albion have today confirmed the departures of Stephane Sessegnon and Victor Anichebe.

With Anichebe taking to social media a few days back to confirm his departure from the The Hawthorns this summer, with a few players out of contract, the club have now confirmed Sessegnon will join him in searching for a new club when his deal expires this summer.

28 year old Anichebe joined the club back in the 2013 window from Everton and leaves with 63 appearances with nine goals.

Sess, soon to be 32, joined earlier in the same window from Sunderland, and he’s made a total of 92 appearances for the club, with a return of eight goals.

Head coach Tony Pulis is quoted as saying.

‘The two lads worked really hard for me and were as good as gold. Everybody at the Club wishes them all the best in their future careers.’

The statement confirming their departure, also confirms that talks are ongoing with James Morrison over extending his deal.
