West Brom could complete the permanent signing of midfielder Filip Krovinovic from Benfica this summer for a fee of around €10million, a report from Portuguese newspaper A Bola, via Sport Witness, has claimed.
Having played an important role in helping the Baggies win promotion back to the Premier League while on loan at The Hawthorns last season, it had recently been reported that West Brom are in talks to sign Krovinovic on-loan for the coming campaign, with the option to buy if they are not relegated.
According to this latest update however, West Brom could now go all out to buy Krovinovic outright this summer, with the offer to buy the midfielder on a permanent basis expected in the next few weeks.
It is thought that if the Baggies are to buy Krovinovic permanently, it could cost them in the region of €10million, the same price they look set to pay to make Matheus Pereira’s loan move from Sporting Lisbon permanent.
Taking to Twitter to react to this news, plenty of West Brom fans were keen to discuss whether or not that is an amount that they should be paying for a player such as Krovinovic.
Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.

Really? I’d say it’s not a lot considering the current market and how a lot of players have very inflated prices now 🤷🏻♂️ #wba

I imagine it will be a rising to £8mil deal of some description. No way are we forking over that much in one go
