The 19-year-old defender heads out to the Scottish Championship side on a loan spell that will expire in January and having signed a new contract at The Hawthorns earlier this summer, it should be another good experience for him as he spent time north of the border with Ross County in the second half of last season.
His maiden loan spell away from the club for our Academy graduate saw him take in six starting appearances and he’ll be hoping for at least double that in this spell as he brings his development on further.
He completed the loan move having featured as a second-half substitute for head coach Darren Moore in our pre-season friendly victory over Barnsley at Oakwell on Wednesday evening and he departs with the well wishes of West Brom fans and has already been given a warm welcome by fans of his new temporary club.
Lovely club colours too. Reminds me of the Roy of the Rovers. Max is a left back; I hope he will have ample game time.
