West Bromwich Albion’s first team squad gave Baggies fans the perfect Christmas present in our last match as we comprehensively put Rotherham United to the sword.
Head coach Darren Moore’s charges stormed to a 4-0 victory on home soil with efforts on the day coming from Dwight Gayle and a hattrick, with a solo effort from Harvey Barnes built in.
With plenty of positives coming from the game as we head towards the New Year with reason for optimism on a promotion front as we look to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, a number of players came in for praise following the match – but obviously, on loan Newcastle United striker Gayle stole the show with is performance.
Good performance from the boys today ???????????????? https://t.co/V9qNTMTk0M

With praise a plenty for the 28-year-old, when he took to social media himself following the game to send the fans a message, a number of those who took the time to respond used it as the perfect opportunity to encourage him to sign a permanent deal with us given how he’s taken to life at The Hawthorns.
