West Brom’s Premier League season continued with a win against Crystal Palace at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

Another win was secured by West Brom with this three-two win against Crystal Palace, despite a second half fightback, further easing any worries about a relegation battle faced to end the season.

West Brom’s blistering start, with Craig Gardner following up a rebound to have us ahead on 12-minutes saw the lead doubled when Craig Dawson headed home on 20 with Saido Berahino, who issued an apology for his actions earlier in the season, making it three just past the half hour mark with his first Premier League goal since October.

A second half brace from Connor Wickham threatened to see Palace comeback but the win was seen out against Tony Pulis’ former side with Gardner clearing a Scott Dann effort off the line late on to make it back-to-back league wins for the first time this year.

These were the other results.

Tottenham v Swansea

The title battle (on Saturday anyway) to win the Premier League only saw Leicester (one-nil) in action with them securing a late win against relegation threatened Norwich at the King Power Stadium with rivals Arsenal and Spurs looking to react to on Sunday, against Man United and Swansea respectively.

West Ham (one-nil) moved up into a European position with a win over Sunderland, who remain in relegation trouble with Aston Villa (two-one) all but done now, if they weren’t anyway, after losing at Villa Park to Stoke so it’s likely to be two places left to fill!

Slipping down the table, towards possible trouble as the disappointing league form continued, are Crystal Palace (three-two) following a defeat against West Brom with a fightback coming too little too late at the Hawthorns.
