Among the schedule is one for us of course so the hope will be that this can result in a win.

Then again, which is more than possible of course, it could be a draw in the latest group game and that would mean a penalty shootout to determine a winner.

League Two side Accrington play host to Middlesbrough’s U21 side with the other U21 team in action on Tuesday, West Brom, heading to Walsall.

An all-League One meeting will see Bury and Rochdale go head to head at Gigg Lane – points in the league would be of greater priority to the Shakers and Dale but a win in this one could be the catalyst to some forward moving momentum.

Tuesday 19th September
Accrington Stanley v Middlesbrough U21 19:30
Bury v Rochdale 19:45
Walsall v West Bromwich Albion U21 19:45

Whatever the line up expectancy will be high for a win ahead of the game.
