West Bromwich Albion have said they are making a concerted effort to make sure tomorrows derby against Aston Villa still takes place despite the weather.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Mark Miles, our head of facility operations and development said.

‘We were fully aware that the adverse weather would be arriving so we did everything we could to prepare for it. We hired gritters to service both inside and outside the stadium and they will remain on site tomorrow. The under soil heating has been on for several days. We are making concerted efforts to remove the heavy snowfall from in and around the stadium and this will continue tomorrow morning.’

Fans making the trip would be advised to check the official site and the news before making the journey, and the main worry at the moment is how bad the freeze will be tonight on the roads.
