Romaine Sayers is a man who has come into West Brom this season and been influential. The ex-Brentford man has played 31 times for the Baggies in the Championship, both scoring and assisting once, and some fans have taken the time to appreciate the 28-year-old.

Romaine Sawyers on returning to WBA:
“I remember running out at the start of the season at the Hawthorns – it gave me goosebumps.
“Every kid wants to play Premier League but to play it with your club is a feeling I can only imagine. We’ve got a good chance though.” pic.twitter.com/HgtOx4UzBR

Sawyers isn’t one who often gets much acclaim for the job he does. The St Kitts and Nevis international isn’t often on the scoresheet and it’s usually the likes of Matheus Pereira, Matt Phillips and the strikers who get the plaudits for goalscoring performance, despite Sawyers playing just as well.
However, these fans have been waxing lyrical about their midfielder and will be keen to see if he can up his game and put in similar performances in the Premier League next season to the levels he’s been managing this season.

I’m such a big fan of Sawyers, i wish he can find that first half of the season form soon
He needs that bit of aggression and decisiveness back and he’ll be back to his best— JonW1995 (@JonW1995) February 18, 2020

I don’t care if he’s arguably out of form, he is still crucial to this team

The fans quite clearly love Sawyers and will be desperate to see him in the Premier League next season.
