West Bromwich Albion fans enjoyed a long stint in the Premier League, and during their time in the top flight, the Baggies have got some fantastic memories of some amazing players, with Gareth McAuley, the now 40-year-old centre-back, one of those.

The defender’s milestone birthday is today, and the Baggies’ official Twitter account put out a congratulatory tweet withing their former defender a happy birthday, with a lot of the supporters very quick to also get involved and wish their former man well.
The former Northern Irish international defender made a real name for himself at The Hawthorns amongst the Baggies. In his time there he racked up 227 appearances and scored 17 goals in those games (Transfermarkt).
