Two Men To Have Their West Brom Futures Decided In The Next Week

|

It’s been reported that West Bromwich Albion head coach Darren Moore will make a final decision on trialists Wes Hoolahan and Russell Martin over the next week.

Both players came in on trial periods over the September international break following their releases from Norwich City over the summer and it’s certainly sparked a number of thoughts from fans as they weighed up the pros and cons on social media.

It’s fair to say the reaction is mixed on whether or not they would each add value to the group or even get limited game time, but they would provide options and experience that our youngsters could lean on.

Express and Star journalist Matt Wilson tweeted.

Moore’s had a decent amount of time to look at them in the flesh so to speak, so if he sees sense in adding them for slightly greater depth then ‘in we trust’ and we have to presume the financial details would suit us, and any agreement at best would be until next summer I would think so it wouldn’t be long-term. It may even only be until January.

We might not be finished there as I’m yet to see what’s happened to speculation linking Bakary Sako with us.
