Head coach Darren Moore will take his West Bromwich Albion squad to Barnet and Swindon Town in pre-season as he prepares for his first proper campaign in charge.
As we build ourselves up for the 2018/19 Championship battle that lies ahead, the club have now confirmed our first two pre-season games.
We head to The Hive to face Vanarama National League side Barnet in our first public outing of the summer. The game takes place at 3pm on Saturday, July 7.
The following weekend, July 14, sees us head to the County Ground for another 3pm kick-off against Swindon Town.
Prices for the Barnet tie are set to follow, but Swindon sees adults at £8, concessions at £5 and U11’s can gain entry for £2.
The games follow our five day trip to Portugal and pre-season begins slightly early on June 25 as Moore looks to ensure we hit the ground running.
Further pre-season details will follow in due course and the club have confirmed we are looking for one home friendly prior to the season kicking off and there are plans for a second group trip to focus purely on fitness work. There are no games planned to take place abroad, however, so fans willing to travel can take in all pre-season games if that comes to pass.
Our pre-season kicks-off with a short training trip to Portugal ???????? before returning to England for two consecutive away games…
