West Brom fans will be desperate to see their side bounce back quickly from their weekend defeat against Wigan Athletic when they face Newcastle United tonight in the FA Cup 5th round, and many fans have made a bold claim surrounding the FA Cup as a quarter-final spot is on offer.
If you would rather go up than win the FA Cup your under 25 or a numbpty , no offense intended #WBA

Ahead of this clash with the struggling Premier League outfit, though, a section of West Brom fans have made the claim that they would much rather see their side go on and win the FA Cup than they would watch them go on and win promotion back to the Premier League.
Financially, obviously being in the top flight is the much better option, but in terms of giving the fans’ memories for years to come and something to always cherish, winning the FA Cup is something that cannot be matched by anything that can be achieved in the Championship.
Will we make it to Wembley?
Yes
No
You can read the Baggies’ thoughts on the FA Cup here:
I’d take going down to non-league if it meant winning a major trophy in my lifetime. Only a select number of clubs win things these days. To be one of those elite even just once is something nobody would ever take from you.
We saw this weekend how hard it is to win something— The Albion Fanatics (@AlbionFanatics) March 3, 2020
Totally agree. The world’s oldest & greatest cup competition I cling on that one day I may see the Albion lift that great old trophy, promotions come & go lifting a domestic knock out trophy would be with you forever.

Win the cup everytime for me, I’ve seen us in the prem plenty of times scraping 40 points together and can’t say I’ve missed it that much but winning the FA cup would be remembered forever.

FA Cup all day long. Said the same in 2008 & was very much in the minority. #WBA

The Baggies have got loads of time for the famous cup competition and will be keen to see their side beat Newcastle to get just one game away from Wembley.
