Jerome Thomas has said he is looking forward to facing his former club Arsenal again tomorrow, and although they hold a special place in his heart, he has no regrets about leaving the Emirates.

Speaking to wba.co.uk he described any match against Arsenal as special to him, and he would dearly love to bag another goal tomorrow after finding the net in our clash against them earlier in the season.

‘A game against Arsenal is always a bit extra special for me, it’s always nice to play your old club.’

Thomas admits he has no regrets about leaving Wenger’s boys because he desperately wanted first team football and at the point Arsenal couldn’t even promise him that he’d be training with the first team, so he had to do what was best for his career but he’s sure there’s no hard feelings at all on either side.

The game will be that bit more special given Thomas celebrates his 28th birthday shortly after the clash, and he’s looking to get one over on Bacary Sagna during the match.

‘He’s a great full back and it’s always a good test. That is who I was up against at the Emireates and that’s why you want to be in the Premier League, test yourself against the best.’

Before the match I think most of us would take another Emirates result wouldn’t we. Would be the perfect boost and I doubt many of us care who scores the winner but you can imagine the celebration if it is Thomas.
