West Bromwich Albion newbie Grady Diangana certainly showed the fans what he was about as he made his Championship bow in Saturday’s second tier victory over Luton Town.
Making the trip to Kenilworth Road for the game, Diangana’s second half introduction in the game definitely worked out for head coach Slaven Bilic, as the 21-year-old hit a speedy six minute brace to turn the game back in our favour.
We ultimately took three points from the 2-1 win, and there can’t have been anyone who wasn’t impressed with what the West Ham United loanee brought to the pitch.
It was certainly a better performance from him compared to the EFL Cup defeat to Millwall, and his showing has certainly got the juices flowing for a number of fans, as he was showered with praise for his efforts on social media following the match – with a few making comparisons to Harvey Barnes last season.
Grady Diangana is gonna be this season's Harvey Barnes, completely changed the game. Thought Livermore was also excellent today #wba

My @WestHam mates told me Diangana was joining us. I’d never heard of him but they said he would tear up this league. They know their football #wba #Hammers #thankyou

Grady Diangana could be Albions this season’s Harvey Barnes.
Could be the loan signing of the Championship season and I’ve not even mentioned Matheus Pereira (unbelievable talent too!) & Charlie Austin.
Outstanding business on deadline day by #WBA. #BoingBoing #SlavsArmy
