With the summer transfer window permanent deadline edging ever nearer, West Bromwich Albion have been linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur Academy graduate Cameron Carter-Vickers.
The original report linking us with potentially having an interest in the 21-year-old was typical rumour mill nonsense with almost every side in the Championship said to be tracking him closely and that may be a good thing as despite Spurs rating him fairly highly, although he is out injured at the moment apparently, it seems a number of their fans certainly don’t.
Despite his age, the centre-half already has eight caps to his name for the United States and in recent season’s he’s been out on loan for greater game time and experience as he continues his development, and last season saw him with Championship side Swansea City where he made 33 appearances across all competitions.
It’s believed Tottenham will again allow him out on a loan spell, and it seems most Spurs fans feel his time at the club is now up if he does depart again, but West Brom fans seemed mixed on what he could add to our group.
Use him as bait to Fulham in the Sessegnon deal ?

Don't know why he's still at Tottenham— Aidan ???????????????????????????????????????????? (@Aidan63499469) August 5, 2019
Sell him to Fulham, along with Onomah. Knock down the price for Sessegnon. Sorted. Tanganga is much better option.

Sheff Utd aren't trying to re-sign him which suggests he is no better than what we have. Went down that road last season, signing players for the sake of it. I only want us to sign players that will improve first XI. This will hold up the development of our own younger players.

his a good player

Bartley played well yesterday. His Albion career was wrecked inside 2 games by Moore/Jones. Now the fans don’t trust him but he is a decent player.
