With the summer transfer window now shut, arguably West Bromwich Albion head coach Darren Moore didn’t get all of his targets through the door ahead of deadline day, and we can still add free agents to our ranks if we wish and they are within our budget.
Former Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Bakary Sako is one such free agent and with him still looking for a club following his departure from Selhurst Park over the summer, a number of fans are championing his cause for a Hawthorns arrival if a deal can be done.
The 30-year-old Mali international did spend the second half of last season on the sidelines with injury so obviously, there are concerns on that front when it comes to his fitness, but these fans at least we should bring him in on trial with a view to a short-term deal at least.
Happy with Sako be gutted if Gayle and Barnes bugger off in Jan

For some fans, this would just be further proof that our summer preparations didn’t go to plan but I can’t imagine we’d be looking at Sako and Wes Hoolahan as cover for Harvey Barnes unless I’m missing something.
