Boxing Day is often seen as one of the best days in the footballing calendar for football fans, but for West Brom supporters, it proved to be a gut-punch of the highest order.
Who was your Man of the Match for Barnsley(A)?

Aapo Halme’s 90th-minute equaliser for Barnsley ensured that West Brom left Oakwell yesterday with just a single point, again frustrating supporters despite keeping West Brom’s unbeaten run intact and extending it now to 14 games in the Championship.
With Leeds United also dropping points later that night, the Baggies blew the chance to go five points clear at the top of the Championship table, and when asked by who was Man of the Match during their 1-1 draw against Barnsley, West Brom supporters used the opportunity to target some players for their poor performances on the day which cost them two vital points.
Here’s what some West Brom fans had to say about who the club’s Man of the Match against Barnsley was on Twitter…
When your keeper is man of the match I feel there is a problem sitting in front of him, there are 10 players to stop and protect the keeper! Well done Sam though

I thought Sawyers was poor today. Johnstone excellent. Pereira and Hegazi honourable mentions.

Problem with Sawyers, he was playing out of position…
Thrives centrally…
Whole midfield balance was all over the place, as we lacked pace and impact from midfield and consequently from full back… Key, productive areas for us..
Sawyers was the victim not the cause, today…— Andy Caulton (@AndyfromNewHamp) December 26, 2019
Johnstone Livermore Kanu Hegazi Pierra .. the rest below par.. didn’t actually think we were as bad as most are saying, far worse at Wigan

Costa Pereira – cool, calm, and played some fantastic touches. Never gave up and again was immense.

West Brom fans will be hoping the squad step up their game tomorrow when Middlesbrough come to the Hawthorns.
