The Press Have An Early Favourite For West Brom Hotseat After Shock Sacking

|

With Saturday evening seeing West Bromwich Albion push the panic button with financial concerns taking precedence over stability and sense as we look to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, legend Darren Moore carried the can for our recent wobbles and received his P45 and we are back on a head coach hunt.

Fans themselves had already mentioned former Watford and Fulham gaffer Slavisa Jokanovic as a potential replacement as we look to keep our season on track now, and Sky Sports have quickly installed him as a potential favourite on the rumour mill.

It’s a typical Sky ‘understands’ piece with little concrete information, but as far as speculation and rumours go, he’s an understandable go-to given our predicament and he does have Championship promotion experience.

Whether he’s a potential candidate for the job remains to be seen but with plenty of anger in the fanbase given such an untimely switch could completely derail the club this year, Jokanovic would have his supporters.

With some speculation suggesting we were also looking at former Huddersfield manager David Wagner, Sky dismiss those suggestions claiming he’s not interested in the job at The Hawthorns.
