West Bromwich Albion secured the signing of Swansea City centre-half Kyle Bartley earlier this week and the player has already begun adjusting to life at the training ground and getting to know his new work colleagues as our preparations for the coming 2018/19 Championship campaign continue.
Having undertaken the now usual public relations tours and interviews with the media upon his arrival having put pen to paper on his new three-year deal, life can settle down a touch for the 27-year-old as he looks to settle at the club quickly so he can hit the ground running once the season begins for real.

The likelihood is that our new defensive capture will make his non-competitive debut when we face Aberdeen this coming Friday, whether head coach Darren Moore believes he#s fit and ready to start is a different question, but I’d imagine we’ll see him for at least a run out in the second period at minimum to bring him on further.
The clubs’ social media team tweeted a very simple comment from Bartley yesterday and it went over like a house on fire to fans and it seems our new player is already winning friends.
That’s all we ask for from our players. You give us that we will support you 100% in return ????⚪️

That’s exactly what we want to hear 100% heart and determination

Players shouldn't say things like 'I'll give it my all' when interviewed. That's the minimum requirement and should be a given.

Just wish players would be more insightful in interviews rather than churning out generic lines that mean little.
