The January transfer window is nearly upon us, and there seems to be one position that West Brom fans are debating whether or not it needs improving.
Given Hal Robson-Kanu and Charlie Austin have started to find some form in front of goal, do you still think signing a striker is a priority for West Brom in January? #WBA pic.twitter.com/WOJwTL9w7S

The striker area has been an interesting position of the pitch for West Brom this season, with Hal Robson-Kanu and Charlie Austin proving to be good but not reliable attackers to bag in the goals on a regular basis for the Baggies.
Yet with the Baggies sitting top of the Championship table, West Brom’s goalscoring problems can’t be as bad as many fans suggest, but as based on to some supporters on social media, a move for a younger, pacey striker could be a smart move to make in the January window with Robson-Kanu and Austin now both in their thirties.
Here’s what some West Brom fans had to say on Twitter about the prospect of the club signing another striker, with the overwhelming majority of supporters keen on a new attacker being brought in…
Its less of a concern but we still have 7 fixtures to evaluate it. One of those is Leeds at home which will be the real test. I’d still like a pacey striker. Maybe depending on those 7 results we can look away from Gayle and maybe start planning for the future with a younger ST

Yes, we miss pace up front. But the question is, do we loan till the end of the season or spend big to secure someone who will perform in the Prem when we get promoted ()

Yes just because as brilliant as they’ve been lately they can’t be relied on to score regularly

With West Brom scoring the highest number of goals out of any side in the Championship, Slaven Bilic might not be thinking about attacking additions in the January window.
