Baggies Word On The Tweet

‘Silences his critics’, ‘Couldn’t be more delighted’ – Many West Brom fans loved this key moment in cup win

West Brom’s 1-0 win over the weekend against West Ham United in the FA Cup was a seriously impressive performance and result for the Baggies, and it was one that was much needed given their recent league form.

The only goal of the game came from defender Conor Townsend, the Baggies’ 26-year-old left-back who has come under scrutiny as of late for some of his performances in the Championship. However, he really shut up his critics with his wonderful strike in this game.

That goal and the win ensures that the Baggies will be involved in thye draw for the 5th round of the FA Cup, and hopefully, the fans will get the chance to see Townsend put in more performances like he did against West Ham, even if he doesn’t maintain his scoring form.

The West Brom fans are loving the Townsend goal and will be keen to see more of that from the left-back.
