Following on from the sacking of Darren Moore at West Bromwich Albion, caretaker gaffer Jimmy Shan got off to a perfect start in midweek as we took a comfortable 3-0 victory over Swansea City at The Hawthorns.
Goals from Chris Brunt, Mason Holgate and Jay Rodriguez gave him a dugout debut victory and with the club seemingly having no one lined up for the job, if he has aspirations of his own, he’s certainly done himself no damage at all after that result.
A proud night for @Jimmy_shan78. ????????#WBA pic.twitter.com/fAarIgXfcY

Whatever the relative merits and criticisms that can be levied against his appointment to the role when it comes to some fans seeing the cheap panic option, and others instantly worrying that the complaints that could be thrown at Moore about experience in the job would surely apply to Shan aswell, I think for now we just enjoy the return to winning ways for a bit before looking wider afield.
Keep him until the summer then get the right man in

Ridiculous situation, no point sacking BD if that’s the plan

Well done @Jimmy_shan78

Just what we all needed!!!!! A back to basics win!!!!!! ????⚪️

Bad night for WBA as the clowns running the club will think the cheap option of keeping shan or appointing Alex Neil is a viable one. Go get Jokanovic, there is no reason why we wouldn't other than paying him a fair wage.
