West Brom fans are going through something of a crisis at the moment on the pitch. The Baggies have gone winless in seven games in the Championship, and now they face a real problem as Nathan Ferguson is set to sign for Crystal Palace in the final days of the January transfer window.

The young full-back is a Baggie born and bred, but it seems that the alure of Premier League football is too much for him to turn down at the moment. The fans haven’t taken too kindly to the news, though, and it seems many of them are taking a pop at the young player.

Fortunately, Slaven Bilic does have one man who can step into the role on a full-time basis, and that man is the club’s FA Cup 4th round hero Connor Townsend, who lashed in the only goal of the game in West Brom’s most recent win, but it won’t completely take away from the fact that Ferguson is abandoning them at a crucial point in the season.

The supporters are far from happy with their young player, and will be desperate to come up against him next season in the Premier League.
