Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro completed his loan move to The Hawthorns at the weekend.

The 26 year old former Tottenham Hotspur player has signed a loan deal until the summer from the Championship club, but we do have an option to turn the deal permanent at the end of the season.

The 17 time capped Brazilian has been handed the No 30 shirt.

Speaking to wba.co.uk after penning his deal, the player said of his move.

‘I spoke to the manager and was impressed. This is a big club and I feel happy to be here and very happy to be back in the Premier League. I believe I have a lot to offer. It was my first day today and I’m looking forward to being part of this family. As a player I play with my heart, I give all I can on the pitch – all the time I want to win the ball and play the ball. I hope the fans will see the best of me during my time.’

Head coach Tony Pulis said of the capture.

‘We’re delighted to bring such a quality player to the Club. We’ve got a few injuries and knocks at the moment so we’re pleased to be able to strengthen the squad. Sandro has a great pedigree and will be a good addition to our squad.’

Having moved to Spurs back in 2010 for a reported £8million, he made 81 appearances for the White Hart Lane outfit across his four years with them, and having moved to QPR in 2014, he leaves them with 28 appearances to his name.
