Roy Hodgson has confirmed that he has left the club with a list of two key targets who he believes would make a major difference to the team.

Speaking to the E&S whilst on our USA tour, Hodgson urged the board to do all they reasonably could to secure the targets.

‘There are a couple of major targets that I would like to see the club sign, it’s the sooner the better on them. The club know who they are and hopefully they will be working on that.’

Hodgson adds that he is looking to add many players this window, preferring quality over quantity, as he believes the squad is already big and good enough to reach our aims.

Whilst Roy wouldn’t obviously give any names he did confirm the one target was a goalkeeper, and it’s a possibility the other would be a striker.
