Rondon Rumours Continue, One Club Drops Out Of The Race, Another One Joins

|

With West Bromwich Albion striker Salomon Rondon continuing to feature heavily on the summer transfer rumour mill during the offseason with Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers heavily linked, we can now add Italian side Roma to the list.

With Rondon’s successful loan spell at St James Park still not seeing a firm offer come in from them for his services despite him making it clear he doesn’t fancy a return to The Hawthorns, it also appears that Wolves have now dropped out of the race to sign him, so things are certainly up in the air for the Venezuelan international.

According to a report from outlet Calciomercato, Roma are now sniffing around the 29-year-old again having previously had an interest in him back in 2015 until they signed Edin Dzeko instead.

There’s not an awful lot to the report and it seems typical rumour mill fare really for this time of the year, but with Rondon wanting a move, it’s better for all concerned if we can get a deal done quickly.
