After Saturdays diabolical managerial performance Robson has finally paid the price for 12 months of gross underachievement – he simply had to go.

I would like to thank Bryan Robson for his efforts during the Great Escape season. Sadly he was not up to the task.

It is now time to get behind the team and push the club forward – It is over to you Mr. Peace.
