West Brom defender Paul Robinson will not receive any further punishment for his challenge on Birmingham City`s Damien Johnson.

The last time the two met was when they both went for the ball in the Baggies 2-0 defeat at St Andrews, the challenge by Robinson left Johnson with a broken jaw.

The player received a red card for his crime and a three game ban, one game of which he has already served.

Video evidence was passed onto Soho Square where the challenge came under close scrutiny, but the powers that be have confirmed that there is no further action to be taken.

An FA spokesman said: ‘No further action will be taken.’
